We recently sat down with Matt Takacs (ESPA Architects) along with Mary Beth Lock and Jim Alty (Wake Forest University) to discuss the installation of their XTend High Density Mobile High Bay Shelving System. Wake Forest, located in Winston-Salem, NC, consolidated 155,000 journals into an existing warehouse by employing a storage system to take advantage of three stories of vertical space that would have been otherwise wasted – with plenty of room to grow.
